 +====== Uncle Walter's Egg Nog ======

 +===== Ingredients =====
 +
 +  * 8 eggs
 +  * 8 double jiggers of 100 proof Apple Brandy
 +  * 3/4 cup granulated sugar
 +  * 3 tablespoons powdered sugar
 +  * 2 double jiggers of 80 proof spiced rum
 +  * 1 cup whipping cream
 +
 +===== Instructions =====
 +
 +  - Separate egg yolks from whites. Place yolks in a bowl and add sugar, one tablespoon at a time, while whisking furiously until thick ribbons form, adding a total of 8 tablespoons.
 +  - While whisking, add brandy, very slowly. Next, add the spiced rum in the same fashion. Cover and move to refridgerator.
 +  - Place egg whites into a new, clean bowl. Whip vigorously, and pour in remaining 4 tablespoons of sugar in a steady stream, until soft peaks form.
 +  - In a final third bowl, pour whipping cream and powdered sugar. Whip until you've got whipped cream. Now we assemble!
 +  - Fold together egg whites and whipped cream. Fold that entire mixture into the yolks and alcohol. Move to a covered pitcher and place back in your fridge. Egg nog!
 +
 +==== Notes ====
 +  * If you can't find 100 proof alcohols, 80 proof will do -- but that is the *minimum* you want to work with in order to stamp out any microbial baddies the raw eggs might have brought on board.
 +  * This egg nog is good for immediate drinking, but can also be aged for a sweet 4-6 months to really improve the flavor. It may seem crazy, but make a triple batch of this in June and prepare for some great holiday parties!
