Avocado Ranch


  • 1 medium sized avocado
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 large garlic clove, peeled and crushed
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon each black pepper and cayenne


  1. In a food processor, combine all ingredients.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy. If thicker than desired, add a tablespoon of lime juice to help thin out.
  3. Refrigerate for 30 minutes prior to serving.


  • Even with the tiny pinch of cayenne, this sauce works well to cool down other dishes - serve with spicy tacos, stuffed peppers, and tequitos
  • Drizzle over chilis or other zingy soups for a creamy finish
  • Sour cream can be used instead of Greek yogurt
  • Cilantro can be added for an extra herby taste - and some additional green coloring
